WHAT IS ASSEMBLY PROCESS -


In a production process joining of two or more parts with each others to get a desired product are called assembly process.



TYPES OF ASSEMBLY PROCESS 


Mechanical Fastening  -


There are many Mechanical fastening method to join two or more parts with each others. Like Threaded fasteners, Riveting, Press fit, Sewing & Stitching.

There is two types of mechanical fastening :-

1.Permanent 

2. Nonpermanent



Adhesive Bonding -


In this process we use Adhesive to join two parts with each other.

There is two types of Adhesives

1.Thermoplastic

2. Thermosetting




Fusion -


Welding  

Brazing  

Soldering  



TYPES OF ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS -


The method of execution of whole assembly process from input to output conversion.



Manual Single Station Assembly -


We use this Assembly systems for low volume & for Big product assembly Like Aircraft, Ships, Rail, Big machine tools /parts ect.



Manual Assembly Line -

In this systems we use multi workstations to assemble any product manually.





Automated Assembly Line -

In this systems we use multi workstations to assemble any product by automated machines in the place of man powers.
